Sighted in my Moison Sniper today but it shoots 5 in HIGH at 100 yards set on 100 meter setting is this normal? I undid the screws on top of elevation drum to change datum line (range setting) or calibrating ring, but it will not let me move it to where I want.

try putting the bayonet on and see if it shoots lower. every time you change the ammo it will change were it shoots as well so.... change the ammo?
Also check the mounts as they can come lose I bought a scout mount and after 3-4 rounds it would come lose then it broke off I was like man what a cheapo screw... so it's back to iron sights for me...

Could you not loosen the thumb screw a bit, then adjust the elevation screws on the sight base?
