I had heard this was the case and avoided the lyman altogether. The lee 90371 drops a little small in the nose for most enfields but works pretty good in mosins. If you want to try a lee mould go for 90385, it drops a .314 155gr bullet with my alloy. If you want the cadilac of moulds check out the CBE web sight, they make great moulds.
 
With "boreriders" like the 2 Lyman molds mentioned, it helps for the front(boreriding portion) to fit as well, it should enter the rifling when chambered but not be a sloppy fit for best accuracy. For best accuracy, there's alot to this cast bullet stuff!!!
