the thick jacket of the Scirocco's bullets is said to be soft and therefore prone to fouling.
Anyone tried to moly-coat these ?
and if yes... how does moly work in the chromed bbls?
any other problems with semiauto use of the aforementioned coated bullets?

And finally ... is "spray on" enough, or do I need the tumbler?

Well as a general rule, moly does reduce fouling. I use it in a number of guns - it really helps.
I just use the spray. Cause I'm lazy.

i have been using 180 grn scirrocos in a 300wsm and don't notice any unusual fouling. my tikka barrel seems quite smooth but they don't foul worse than a hornady spitzer. i wouldn't bother coating them myself.
