Moly grease?

I'm looking for some Moly grease (MOLYBDENUM DISULFIDE) to put on my barrel nut while assembling my upper. Anyone know where I can score some? I looked at a few places like "Princess Auto" here in Calgary, but the stuff they had was petroleum based... and I don't want my rifle to burst into flames.

What have people here used in the past? Is there actually any danger to using a petroleum based grease, or am I just being paranoid?

Paranoid, any old stuff will do and just a tiny film is needed. The percentage of moly in the "Moly Grease" you buy could be in the ppm anyway. CV joint grease is usually moly and auto shops normally have some kicking around. Store the tube type containers with the cap up, the liquid goes to the bottom so if you need just a dab, you aren't messing with a runny mixture.

Wheel bearing grease is what you need. As furet points out, Canadian Tire is your friend.
