No, too much grease and not enough moly and it will migrate inside your rifle and end up outside or in front of the piston which is bad.. It takes very little to work properly, you don't want it migrating all over the place and it's messy.
Lucas synthetic wheel bearing lube works perfect for this application. A thin coat applied to the piston bore of the rifle will serve for hundreds of shots. Funny enough, the lube that came with my V-Mach spring kit for my Diana 52 was the same green color and had the same feel as the Lucas stuff. Works beauty.
