Beats me too.. but I have 4 mags for a Ruger American scout in .556 if I ever get one of them to take the place of the shoulder thing that goes up whose only purpose is to … ah … annoy liberals.. ah..

I won't comment on the quantity or what constitutes "a lot", but I will agree that you can never have enough magazines. As they tend to be a consumable item subject to wear and tear, grabbing them when on sale is always a good idea, particularly if they fit into multiple guns.

I had 10 Hi-Standard pistol mags, 1911, I don't have a clue.
Bought a couple s-w 52 mags years ago, so than had to buy a gun to go with the mags, I miss that gun.
6 HK P7 mags, those add up fast.

Not in Double-Digits until you count cost - I have 6 for Sav-64 = ca $200+ ; 6 for Tapco SKS - $300+ ; 3 for Ruger .223 = $200+ ; 2 for Magpul .308 = $160+ ; 3 for B22 = $150+ . Just gives me a longer time to focus on form rather than loading every 5-10 shots. I could forego that 'luxury' and sell spares to buy ca $800+ of ammo ? Not a real choice ?

Other then P mags I only have 1 rifle with more then two mags for it. Never got into 3 gun so it wasn't a huge priority to get piles of spares. 2 in good working condition has always worked.

Might change that to 3 now that we are having shortages of everything. You never know when it'll be impossible to get anything if the libs get their way.

Pics do tell all , go on show me up.
Ok

I'm sure I have more kicking around. But these are the ones in the drawer...

I bought a lot of gun packages off the EE that came with lots.
Hoping the prices skyrocket again... I remember the $80 pmags days :(

28 magazines for 3 firearms, two bolt rifles and a semi pistol. The price and availability have gone up and down over the years so I figure like stocks dollar cost averaging. Magazines are getting harder to find/buy these days with various shortages and shipping problems.
Money well spent especially during bug season or the winter at an outdoor range! When it’s time to reload it’s also time to take a break

Oh Yeah. Thats what im talkin bout. Bring on the zombie invasion. Hopefully youve got the good stuff for em that makes the springs tite. Only bad thing about lots of mags is lots of ammo required to fill em, wait thats not a bad thing!!!
