Montana gold bullets

That's why I'm posting. Hoping someone here can share how they got them. Per round here I am paying roughly $0.25 per shot. If I could get some montana gold, it would be $0.10 per shot, not incl powder, primer and brass.

The Canadian distributor (Canadian BDX out of Black Diamond, AB) stopped importing them a few years ago and started to manufacture their own bullets.

Don't know if anyone else is has taken up distributing Montana Gold in Canada.

"...If I could get some montana gold..." No, you wouldn't. Forget about any price you see on a U.S. web site. The exchange rate and shipping will negate any cost savings found on-line. And components require the U.S. Federal export permit. Not worth the time, effort and cost for bullets.

I found 1000 JHP .429 dia Montana Bullets about 3 years ago. I'm hoarding them. Can't get them anywhere in Canada any more.
I really like them for the Marlin .44 mag carbine.

Montana Golds are very good and super accurate, I use them in major competition matches, although they are not available here in canada, All the one I have are from winning them at prize tables.
The canadian BDX brand is almost an exact copy (if you can get them also)
AS an alternative I did a bench test with my STI Edge in .40S&W and found that Frontier were the closest in terms of accuracy to the Montana gold and are way cheaper and easier to get.

Hey, has anyone ordered montana gold bullets?

if you are looking for 124gr 9mm bullets I can accommodate you in Calgary for $79/1000. They are plated but because of how thick the plating is you can push them to the same speeds as a jacketed bullet and as an added bonus there is no exposed lead. The .357 and .44 mag bullets are pretty popular for guys loading for carbines with full power loads. Unfortunately I only have the 124gr 9mm rn in stock in Calgary.
