Montana Gold Bullets

i do not think it is a matter of more drag with FMJ bullets but a matter that they are "harder" then lead so yo do not get as good of a seal in the lands so there is some gas leakage around the bullet, therefore requiring more powder to get the same velocity as a lead bullet. easy solution is to look up loads in a loading hand book rater then guessing.

Full metal jacketed bullets create more friction travelling down the barrel than lead and require more powder to achieve the same level of velocity.

Don't get me wrong like the Bullets just finished loading 4000 230JHP

Hey Boyz.

Looks like we have new competition for BDX in the West! Frank Koch 4036500340 is the latest rep for Aim projectiles in the West. Last time I heard pricing they were cheap! Don't have any experience with them yet but plan to try a couple thousand at least for practice. Heard second hand double struck coated bullets.
