Montana Rifle Co. short action

Anyone here purchase a Montana Rifle Co. firearm in any WSM caliber? I'm wondering how much room they have in the mag. Website says 3.125". There's enough room there to seat anything in 7mm. The XWR in 7WSM would be perfect with that mag length.

That 3.125 seem about right. I'm loading my 325wsm to a hair over 2.9 and there is about 2/10's more room. I don't feel like pulling the stock to give the exact length but the are a little longer than other short actions so they can chamber the wsm's and 6.5x284 in a short action rifle.

Right on, thanks for the info. Definitely no need to pull the stock for that. Your rifle has a floorplate right? There not a blind mag are they?

Yes it has a floor plate.
