Monthly Rimfire comp rules.

Maby we can make a sticky actual thread. What do you guys think about a monthly Canadiangunnutz.com rim fire comp ?

50y range - 5 shots in each stance.

We will have 4 classes.

- 22lr Open sights.

- 22lr Optics.

- 22wmr & .17hmr Open sights.

- 22wmr& .17hmr Optics.

Here is a target to print out

* you can use a back pack, shooting block ect .. instead of a bipod for relay #5. just no rear support.*

On the 1st of every month a new post for monthly scores will come up to post in.

Plz be honest about your score and range.

Put your score down like so with your name, class, stance # and score

- IE -

AKD 22.lr open sights.

1 - 49.9
2 - 49.9
3 - 49.9
4 - 49.9
5 - 49.9

Total - 249.5

You can post pics as well if you like.

- note - you will need to print out 5 targets and shoot 1 target per stance.

This is a great idea but is already on this forum. Although, anything to get people shooting !
As you may have seen at the top of the rimfire forum is a section for postal matches. Although no new posts since November - I don't know if this is still active.
The target might be a bit of a challenge at 50yd/m with irons. The aiming black would all but disappear. Would be fine for optics !

Now here's a gauntlet thrown... considering how many talk of the accuracy achieved with their favourite 'Betsy' they should be able to clean this target every time.

Im actually a iron sight shooter and ur right. maby a circle the same size but fully black.

I don't have a rifle yet but I do have a handgun, if I move the target to 25 yards would that be fair???

sounds good to me, are you both with handguns?

I dont shoot handguns my self but how would you score it?

Couldn't locate this on the site. I'm sure action oriented shooting sports might appeal to many but that's the diversity of the shooting sports.
