Montreal Indoor Challenge 2011

awesome day, awesome match, awesome squad. JP really picked it up today. figure he got me by around 12%. damnit. :) kid is a frickin machine.

thanks to all the CRO, RO and the grumpy RM (lol), Frank and everyone that built that match. as always you guys outdid yourselves. Guy, I want to hire you to come to BC to setup a match or two. the inventiveness that you (and Bob too) show with your props, and most importantly, stage design, is just incredible. As I say time and again, best match of the year. Looking forward to working the next two days, gonna be just as much fun.
 
What a great match and overall trip.

I shot the worst match of my life but had a great time doing it!

Lonedrone and Moodyblueberry were great travelling companions.

Slavex sorry we did not make it out but we were toast and just crashed at the hotel.

This is certainly going to be a yearly trek.

Imagine my shock to find that the club was a BLOCK from the hotel I stay at when in Montreal for work!!! From now on I am brining guns along!

Thanks to Frank and his crew for making this a great weekend.

Oh and we managed to make the trip home in only 7 hours!!!
 
I have to agree with Storm - it was one of the worst matches he's shot in a while;) (and he'll probably still beat me handily)!

A great match and road trip. Thanks to Frank and his crew for the great event, and the good deals on all my reloading supplies. Definitely to be considered an annual pilgrimage.

great to see Chris Tilley shoot, even better to watch him screw up and recover a mag change faster than most people can do one. helluva nice guy with one of the best wives I've met. Marianna rocks.

If anyone is ever wants a quality match with great props and stage design, get to this match next year. you will not be disappointed.

Yeah, zaitsev did a great job at the match. Slavex was on his toes on some stages, but he dealt with the competition and even beat Mike B in Standard. Well done, JPD! http://tinyurl.com/4dhys5c
 
The match was well worth the trip from the Ottawa area. Great and challenging stages. Heck of a time (end of stage 4) to have my first ever real squib though!

Wish I could have come back on Sunday but Saturday ended up being a 13 hour day at the range by the time our squad was done and it wiped me out completely .
Definitely choose to work a different day than shooting next year.

Anybody here win the CZ's?
