MoonClip Tools

Made my own case remover out of some 1/2 copper pipe for my 1917....it took about 2 mins, just need to file down about 2/3 of the end. It's nice as it will hold 6 rounds inside it....then just dump em out and carry on.

BMT is by far the best out there and the easiest to use. Also the most expensive.
Anyway, I highly recommend it. Should be around $120 to your door.
Worth every penny and then some.
Good luck, and enjoy that 929, had one and it was a fun gun. If I didn't sell the BMT with it, I'd offer it to ya.

I made my own mooner and the demooner came with some clips I ordered from a guy on ebay. My 929 clips came from Unique Tek, best price and they are not a super tight fit, I just load them with my hands, my 625 needs the mooner however.

Thanks for the responses.
The TK Custom clips can be cancelled as I have ordered that through Brownells, with a backorder item held to complete shipped.
I like the Unique Tek option that Ian has suggested and I think I'll make my own mooner.
The BMT is by far the slickest, but costly.
I have a Vortex Razor Red Dot and just waiting for Weigand mount to arrive.
Will post pics and a writeup over the winter. :)

It does say on the TK Custom website that he ships to Canada for $25. I plan to order some moon clips from him along with the loading tool. It seems reasonably priced.

DP. the people at Dillon only sell excellent products and have the best customer service of any company I have ever dealt with for anything, ever.

Will Dillon send moon clips, they appear to be on their verbotten list, Brownells too?? Some list 45acp only as forbidden. Lord knows why. I guess one must phone up and argue with them as the minions surely won't know why.

I've bought over 30 moon clips from Brownells without a problem. Order on their toll free phone line and they will notify you immediately if there is any problem shipping that product to Canada. Highly recommended.

I've used my TK mooner for quite awhile, it works great and it also de-moons but not as quick as their screwdriver de-mooner.
So I bought both and have been happy with them.
Another shooter had a really slick tool made from what appeared to be Teflon- I didn't get the name but with a quick twist they were on (or off)...

That would have been the BMT tool.

My order from BMT came in the mail today, great company to deal with.
