That sounds like a good shop! I asked a local large butcher shop before my last deer hunt and they refused to even touch it for fear of cross contaminating with their retail meat. :(

I remember when I was in my 20's........

After going out, we were gathering at my folks at 2-3am grilling some deer steaks and burgers instead of going to the local diner......

The good old days !.....
