A couple of weeks ago, I made a big batch of Moose braised in red wine demi glace with root vegetables, garlic and fresh thyme, and vac packed it.

I was going to serve it when I went hunting with todbartell and Boonerbuck.

Unfortunately for them, I forgot it in the freezer.....

So I had to eat some for dinner tonight, with hot buttered fresh pasta.

It was delicious.:D

But dont' feel to bad for my compadres. I *did* remember to bring 'some' food for dinner.

They dined on garlic and rosemary marinated pork chops, Duck confit with salad, and Guiness braised lamb shanks with wild mushroom risotto....

SO none of them starved..;)

River Rat and I need to get you up here for a hunting trip and show you how to cook a real meal! ;)

Ted

Although I am slightly apprehensive to ask, what is your idea of a "REAL MEAL?":)

Becasue I have eaten alot of animals grilled on a fire, without even S&P!:)

Old meat (unless it is putrid) will not make yuou sick..

It WILL make you fart, though...:D
