Goose everyone has there own tricks and methods , I wouldnt dunk it in a river or creek but that dosnt mean it wont work , I aim for getting the meat to tack up asap so no moisture is better but thats me
We try to follow the weather forecasts carefully. We know where meat coolers are and are prepared to drop everything and spend the couple hours round trip so that the meat does not spoil.stubblejumper said:Taking the hide off does allow the carcass to cool faster which can prevent the meat from spoiling in warm weather.
