moose hunting

Moose are bad...until you shoot a bison! Moose are just big deer and deer aren't that bad.

When hunting in the fall I like to pants him and lay the hide out hair side down so you have somewhere clean to work. Saves picking twigs and leaves off the meat. If you can get your truck or aTV close that makes life even better. On the bright side, you'll end up with a fair amount of meat for the freezer.

This is why hunters have a bad reputation.

You'd be a liberalised, domesticated subject of society I would say if you believe this. The adrenaline and endorphine rush most normal males who hunt receive on making a good shot is a hard wired genetic response. It's a reward released by the brain for what was, for only 99.9996% of our evolutionary history, success and survival. Same reason ### feels good, and sugar tastes good. It's natural, denying it is, well there's a problem. A bit goofy hunters are expected to be sullen and down trodden on succeeding on the hunt. It is a moment for celebration, and for any normally wired brain, feels like it. That doesn't mean we don't respect the animal.
