Moose in 18A??

anyone hunt moose in 18A in a second week of the season?
just came back this weekend and I got to say ffs no luck sucks


to all you bums that were comming back (1st week of the season), while I was driving in, with a trailers loaded with a moose; congrats you picked the right time aparently, a whole week and some of hard hunting and very little action

We hunted 21a for 11 days. Seen one bull but couldn't shoot it cuz our tag wasnt arriving until the next morning.... Other than that...sweet #### all

18A has been ruined by the natives. They hunt when they want to and take all they can.

didnt see any natives outside of Aroland, then again we were almost in MWA 17, about 20km SW of Ogoki

We quit going there because of them, they usually had all they wanted by the time we got there but you would still meet some of them on the roads. One of the last straws was when they would drive through your hunting area in the dark with spotlights and horns blasting to scare off anything that we would be hunting the next morning. Used to be a great spot years ago and the MNR still hands out tags like they are over run with moose.
One other change we noticed is how much the bear and wolf population has increased, adding more strain to the moose population.

that sucks, I dont go there too often but my copanions are pretty much married to that place, Ill see if they had any encounters last few times I missed on a hunt
