I live in the north end of Calgary. Before Xmas we had a small moose going up and down the path we back on to. Well, yesterday morning we had three moose playing follow the leader through our back yard and then over the chain link fence in the picture. They then went up the path just like the moose before Xmas did, which leads through the subdivision.
The one you can see was the smallest, the next one was a bit bigger and the third which isn't in the picture was the largest. They left a nice pile of moose poop across my patio and obviously didn't have any problems getting over the fence since by the time we got the camera to take the picture they were already on the other side. I was amazed to see a moose in the city before Xmas, even more amazed to see three of them all together going through our yard yesterday. They literally passed within 5 feet of the edge of our house.
Sorry for the grainy picture, it was 8:00 in the morning and still somewhat dark, we lightened the picture as best as we could.
