Is a moose not a member of the deer family?

Is a commercial product of "...natural urines come from moose at the Buck Expert research center...fed with the same diet as wild moose..." not "...a product that contains or purports to contain any body part of a member of the deer family, including urine..."?

These natural urines come from moose at the Buck Expert research center, they are fed with the same diet as wild moose.

Not legal for hunting in Ontario to use the real stuff but you can buy it anyways. It’s a way that CWD and other diseases can be spread from captive herds to wild. There are synthetics out there that can be used.

Been using this one from Buck Expert since the same law came in effect in BC a few years ago. 100% Synthetic.

I used to use various urine products both synthetic and real but found them to be a complete waste of money. I have literally watched bucks in the rut walk within feet of a scent wick and not even look that direction or take a sniff at it. I have never observed any noticeable effects on deer, elk, or moose. Obviously some people have had different results but those are just my observations.

Reading a recent magazine there was an article discussing studies of animal and human urine being tested on deer in mock scrapes. Human urine was one of the most visited scrapes. IMO deer and moose scents are more about getting money out of hunters pockets than actually helping tag animals as no farmed or synthetic scent can match wild animal urine. Curiosity is what draws them in, not what farmed animal or machine created the scent you're using.

One of my buddies tags a nice buck every year using deer urine he gathers in the snow. A deer pee slushy that gets used that day or frozen for future hunts.
