moose milk question

for those of you that make your own moose milk, where are you getting the water soliable machining oil? and can I get it in small quantities?

I am not sure but I am under the impression that ballistol has alcohol and hydrogen peroxide in it. The alcohol is no problem but the hydrogen peroxide is. I have never used it so maybe I'm off track but the hydrogen peroxide, even in its diluted form will promote rust.
Any comments?

FWIW , i use 1 litter olive oil and 1 lb bees wax .
heat until i just starts to smoke and dip your patches
stacked 30 high between pliers and let soak for 30 seconds.
in my 54 cal , 60 gr ffg, i can shoot all day long whitout
haveing to clean. if i use 70 gr ffg , after 4 shots i have to clean. the beauty of this is u can use for hunting and
its the same load and the same point of impact, even
if its loaded all day.

Ballistol is great stuff, it is all I use for rust prevention. There is no peroxide in it.

no peroxide in it. i use it on all kinds of stuff. wonders for BP stuff. anywhere there is a chance of rust, or you want it to absorb up some water.

Moose milk is our drink for new year's levy:

1 bottle dark rum
2 or 3 cartons of spiced eggnog
1 brick of butterscotch ice cream
a dash of cinnamon

Put first three ingredients into a large punch bowl. Sprinkle cinnamon. Drink until drunk.

Around these parts "moose milk" is slang for Rye & Milk. Not a fan myself & shootemup's sounds much tastier. A toast to regional disparity.

The main component of Ballistoil is mineral oil with some alcohol. No hydrogen peroxide, but it does have oleic acid, which is a monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid, found in things like olive oil, and other plants and vegetables and in small quantities in animals.



For moose milk we use water soluble cutting oil, pine sol, and some isopropyl alcohol.

Moose milk? like milk from an actual moose. I think if you tried milking a moose, it would stomp you to death. Love to see someone try it though. I think i'll stick to soapy water and movit.
