There seems to be a fairly significant ( and pointless?) change to the moose opener. The WMU's that have only a one week season, roughly 46 to 63, would normally open on a Monday and close the following Sunday.
I just checked the regs this morning, and the opener is on the 21st, which is a SATURDAY on my calendar, and closes the following Friday.
I don't know why they did that, but it should be a real circus for those of us who hunt on crown land. Also give the CO's a chance to lay charges with people who assume the season will be the same as it has been for the last 30+ years.
