Piss poor shot placement IMO.
Running game is not the time for Head/neck shots no matter how close. They should have called the dog off. I've hunted with dogs for many years, and under some conditions it's the only way. But a wounded animal will deffinately run further with a dog in pursuit. Let it go lie down and die, then use the dog to find it if you must.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda.
I've shot over a dozen moose, about that many elk and I stopped counting deer at 15 and the moose in that video would never had got up from where it took the somersault on the rock outcrop.
It would have been bled and dressed out on that rock that very day.
As my older bro said when he saw the video 3 or 4 times last evening, "that moose was a gift".
