I am looking for a tubular magazine for my mosseburg 351k do you know of anyone who carries these as mine has been crushed and i can only get 5 rds in instead of the 15 its suppose to hold .

Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated

Rob

You can put a WTB on the EE, try Western Gun Parts in Edmonton or watch ebay . Failing that, can you not run some kind of rod through the tube to straighten it enough to hold more shells. Or cut the crushed portion out and tig or braze in a new piece,. Might not look super but at least it would be functional.

Kind of curious...

You can get it to feed n' fire those 5 rounds? If the shells can pass through, it can't be crushed that badly. x2 on pushing a rod of similar diameter through it. Even a hardwood dowel would open it up.

If your inner is bent/crushed it's trickier to fix, but still not impossible to replace. Some dis assembly required. You may find a cheap inner tube, that could be adapted to fit. I have had bent tubes that cause migraines, but eventually got 'em straightened enough to enjoy.

Musical instrument repairs shops have tools that are used for taking dents out of brass instruments, trumpets, french horns, etc.
It's a very common repair on high school band instruments.

how did the tube get bent when it is incased in the stock? and a piece of brass rod can be introduced to straighten it out.

I scratched my head a bit about this too...gotta be the inner magazine tube. Esp if it'll still work with 5 rds. I've not encountered a crushed one, but have seen quite a few bent, and actually bent one myself with no help at all (not bragging).

i think i still have mine in a box.
it was from years ago when i had one of the mossberg semi auto rifles. cops took the gun but not the tube.
i will see if i can find it
