More $100 Mosin's?

It's going to be a while still, but for sure worth the wait. I was lucky enough to pick one up at a gun show last weekend for cheap. It's funny how these things are so cheap and plentiful in the world, but we have a hard time getting one! I go to my local range and there are at least 3-4 SKS's each time, but I think I've only seen a Mosin once or twice before.

They usually are brought in in large quantities but the price is so cheap compared to almost any other type of firearm (and they're great quality rifles) that they vanish off the shelves fast. A lot of guy's collect these, too

I'd love two! A close friend of mine will be shocked when I hand him one of these for a house warming present. He's been after one for some time now.

I noticed alot of other dealers are having mosins in stock, i wonder if this at all means west rifle's will be coming in, or they could be from a completely different batch im guessing

Many people want another rifle and Mosin are good rifles. I used to sell Mosins for 250 3 years ago. 180 is a drop in price :) Soon those will be sold at westrifle.com I can not comment if it is my or not that are selling everywhere else

Found some a few days ago for $150 at one dealer, $200 at another, and $129 at a third, so they are out there.

Unfortunately at all of them I had to inspect at least 6 rifles before I found one with anything remotely resembling an acceptable bore, though I did end up with 2 1940's production with shiny bores and a 1920-something that is slightly frosted (I hope...dirty buggers, and dry patches only tell you so much..). Buying them for family :)

I expect the cruddy bores will shoot the cruddy old surplus fine. I shoot cast bullet reloads, so if it doesn't shine, I'm not interested.
