More 5mm remington ammo?

Funny how the 5mm kind of faded away yet Hornady brought out the 17 HMR to great success. Is it because it had Magnum in the name?

I believe Remington was the only producers of rifles for this rd. And only had 2 models, a bolt action, one with a tube, and one with a clip.

That is correct the model 591 and 592 (I own 1 of each) as well as a Thompson Contender pistol which I've never seen personally. Like I mentioned earlier in the thread there was rumor Savage was going to start making a 5mm again a few years back, but I'm not sure what happened with that.

Aren't the Savage 22's made here in Canada? Too bad they couldn't be persuaded to produce a 5mm. Maybe even in a semi, for the tacti-cool crowd.
