More deals coming....

The thread was started by John on Sept. 17, 2013. So maybe he spoke too soon??? I think maximum 2 week lead time for enthusiasm for the "DEAL" to build. I think now he is getting more negative P.R. Either way I'm sure he will have some good "DEALS" But now some of my firearm money is being spent elswhere!

It was announced around the same time as the T97's hit the dealers .
Probably want people to save their money till his "deals?" arrived
lol

I'm having a hard time imagining the scenario you suggest PW. I guess there are always some whiners but I can't see John being bothered much by them.

Hey I'm a quite guy and can appreciate quiet.......but if you are going to start a thread to hype some inbound merchandise then you should be ready to provide as much intel as possible.

when they first brought in the VZ58's, and were delayed, people actually called martsar and threatened to sue them. gotta love an audience like that.

Sometimes things go sideways....communication is the key. Keep people informed as much as possible and most will be patient and polite.

And that's what John is "known" for.... Laugh2

Eagerly waiting the "deals", though, as they sucked me out on the 305/sks combo....

One born every minute...

I heard there is a class-action suit starting if Marstar only brings in post soviet Hind 24's and no Soviet era one's.

I am hoping that it is like the fsn deal a while back. Buy two cases of ammo get a gun for $99, buy three get it for a buck.

Then again, maybe a 321 deal. Buy $1000 worth of ammo, get m305 for $3, cq-a for $2, and 1911 for $1?

For John and slightly off topic.. but since Obama is not allowing import of the hundreds of thousands of South Korean M1 Garands into the US.....would Marstar be in a position to negotiate a deal to purchse some?

Why not? Unless South Korea has some sort of document stating that those Garands are somehow U.S. property or the U.S. has some control over their final destination. It would be really cool to see those Garands show up here.

Those are US Garands supplied to S. Korea. S. Korea wanted to sell them for a long time, but US law doesn't allow guns that was exported to military.

If the U.S. military defense articles “contain U.S. manufactured parts or components and/or foreign manufactured parts or components that were manufactured with U.S. technical data or assistance,” you must first obtain written retransfer authorization from the U.S. Department of State, Office of Defense Trade Controls, Political Military (PM/DTC), Room 1200 SA-1, 241 E Street, NW, Washington, DC 20037, (202) 663-1282, http://www.pmddtc.state.gov/, to be attached to the initial completed Form 6. New production of U.S. military defense articles would still require retransfer authorization to qualify for importation into the United States.

At the end, I was surprised that nobody in Canada jumped on this opportunity.

HMMMM! Let me think? What area of the world will require 100's of thousands of semi-auto 30-06??? Think open desert with a round that can blast through a mud hut or cinderblock wall out to 600yds. +++. And the U.S. Navy offers "FREE SHIPPING"
