Doesnt CT price match my local store has stock but wants $259 I wonder if would match
Nope, the Bayers lake wouldn't even match the Bedford store, they said the ones for $149.99 had to be old stock and they will just be breaking even with $169.99 at the Grand opening. However I think sales across the board are slowing as the market gets saturated, there will always be demand but now I think more and more , it is folks like us looking for particular ones. That and ammo is slowly climbing in price!Doesnt CT price match my local store has stock but wants $259 I wonder if would match
Canadian Tire in Bedford has SKS for $149.00 right now. They are cheaper than mossberg plinksters hahahahah
Are you just looking for a shooter or specific year? I am sure they will have some left, but if you want to pay for it I will pick one or two up for you! I am also going to be selling a couple of mine as I adjust my little group!Damn, they better have some left for september lol im away until then.
That bill is dead, the CTC manager doesn't seem to be worried, these are a new shipment in, that's why he jacked the price $10. The more SKS, or any firearm that gets in the hands of law abiding Canadians is a help. Strength in numbers!
Well everything I am hearing, is that it dies with her retirement, and another senator has to reintroduce it to continue! So I guess that's a good reason to keep sending letters to all the members, so they know what kind of flak they are in for if it is reintroduced!Just out of curiosity, are you sure that bill S-223 is dead? I last heard that it passed second reading....

Getting back to the SKS and CTC. Although CTC and other major firearms stores are quiet right now, you can bet they won't be, this would be a huge loss for them as they have created a foothold in the industry and spent a lot of money in inventory and training their staff.. They will not give up this revenue stream without contacting representatives and lobbying for sensible gun laws!
Maybe I missed it, all I see is what went through to parliament and was mostly stuff that both sides would agree on I didn't see anything on 223 but I just took a quick look, the senate is full of Consevatives right now, so I don't think this will make it if it isn't dead already, that doesn't mean we can relax because Justin hasn't had time to focus on the firearms laws yet, hopefully he will drop enough in popularity before he turns his ,sights on us that the will heed the backlash and possibly reconsider any draconian measures, we have to be loud and effective!http://liberalsenateforum.ca/
Not sure if this link will work, but this is what I've read.
Click on Payette's name.
Yes for sure, well I am trying to do my part, both in getting everyone I know with a pal to get an SKS and ones without a pal to get one of those! Join the firearms right associations and if or when it comes to it,, protest peacefully!True, he is young, and I think he'd like to drive the party boat for more than one tour. Pissing off thousands of potential voters (gun owners) will not help him...God,I miss the halcyon days of Mr Harper!!
The CTC grand opening is tomorrow, SKS $179.99. Interesting that this will be their first advertised firearm flyer,, at least around here, with an SKS on the front page, along with a lakefield .22 64TR semi auto for $160. !!!
Funny you should say that,,the first rifle I ever wanted as a kid was the Winchester 1894, and had the picture from the Canadian Tire catalogue taped to the headboard of my bed!Cool, I remember the good old days as a kid looking at the Canadian tire catalog, pages full of guns! Real guns!
