Hello, I bought this m305 awhile ago haven't shot it and think I might sell it. I'm just looking for some information when it was imported and by who, also what it maybe worth. I the only thing I can see wrong is the stock maybe have to be replaced as it doesn't fit centre with barrel. Thanks for your help.

The only number on the receiver.

what stenciling does it have? Marked as m305 or m14s?

Is that a usgi hardwood stock or just a stripped down crappy chu wood factory stock.

Looks like USGI stock (selector switch cut). As for what its worth, its a chinese m305. They are usually about 400- 450$ used on the EE bone stock. Sorry I cant give you any info on your serial number.

Looks like a stripped and modded chinese stock or a USGI birch.
I can't see the numbers in the top pic
If there is just a serial number and no other markings, it is a pre2005 import.
Import info started appearing in 05 thru 07.
With. the vast majority, if not ALL of the components for these rifles were manufactured in the late 80's early 90's.
Not sure how you would find actual import info of a pre 2005 unless it has an AL before the serial numbers indicating allan lever of the original lever arms.
Under the stock, on left side of receiver will have a set of loosley punched numbers. These can be forwarded to forum member "Different" for info on receiver manufacture dates ect.

EE prices of 400-450??? Where are those LOL
Seems 500 to 600 is the going rate for a good condition gremlin free usgi stocked chinese m14 these days.

Haha. My bad. Yeah my brain wrote USGI stock, but then my fingers typed price with plastic Norinco stock. Give me a break, it's Monday after all

1991, that would be one of the first batches of polytech/norinco's to come in. From what the US guys have said, those were the ones with bad/soft bolts weren't they?

Those are you secret (read: fortune cookie) Lotto 649 numbers (no encore; shifty buggers)

I've given up trying to decipher them and I just play them on the Saturday evening draw. No wonder I have not won anything, not even a FREE Play!

Enjoy the addiction!
