More load development or good enough?

The hardest part of shooting the groups was the trigger...man is it heavy. Not sure about spending cash on a trigger for a Stevens though the whole point of a Steven's is to be cheap.

To me a good trigger makes the rifle. It doesn't matter what the cost of the rifle is, the point of the rifle is to hit a target at distance. If I owned a Stevens I'd want to take advantage of it's accuracy, something that is not easily done with a difficult trigger. A $250 Jewel trigger isn't necessary, but neither would it hurt me to put one on a Stevens, if it meant I could shoot the rifle well. All the same, a trigger from Bold, Rifle Basix or Timney would be cheaper option and would adjust as well. I've sold more than one rifle that came from good bloodlines but didn't have a trigger I could adjust properly or get an aftermarket trigger for.
