More M305 range results - awesome!

Still refining loads for the M305... Got to be careful because I believe it is easy to chase the accuracy fairy with this rifle but I'm finding that 41.5 grains H4895, BR2 primer, 165/8 grain bullet is the most consistent in my rifle. I'm getting 1 1/4 MOA and sometimes squeak it in even tighter with this load. Win case.

For sure, 5 rd grps help evaluate better. Although, I have many 3 rd groups that show same results. So, I'm quite happy with that, especially as hunting is my primary focus. Cheers.
 
Also, forgot to mention - the chrony showed 2553 across the board! '0' for extreme spread!! Fired another round through it to be sure. Checked out.

I would say 10 rounds as a minimum are indicative of what it will do, but whatever floats your boat.;)

Being as I have never and don't intend on putting volume of fire down on an animal, and have consistently reproduced the results, as well have hit the 200 meter target where I intended and the 300 meter gong, I think it works well enough for my purposes. Personally, I don't want to be shooting this rifle much past 200 meters anyway. I have other rifles that I can rely on for that. If I am going to be competing in a service match, I agree that 5 and 10 rd groups will be more helpful for this rifle. For hunting, I want to know what my rifles will do with 3 rd groups because on any given day that is all I'm bound to shoot at an animal, if that. But I'll take the advice and try some groups that way. Though I won't be using the load that just shot this as those bullets are not available anymore - gotta conserve them.
