I am excited to be able to offer the following muzzle devices in 1/2X28 , .308 bore, matte black milspec finish
First is both a compensator/muzzle brake, designed to tame muzzle flip and slight reduction in recoil. Overall length is 2"

Second is an A6 muzzle brake, .308 bore, 1/2X28 , matte black milspec finish

Both devices require use of a crush washer to index, and crushwasher is included
See the following link to my dealer add for pricing on these and my other services ;)

Thanx Grizz ;)
Yes, I special ordered a run of each in .308 and hope to add further options soon
Any time.

Sounds good. I just wish I could land a job with enough work to keep me employed for more than 2 months at a time before things fall off. Then I could put together enough $$ to send my rifle to to for a chop & tune.

The first one is a comp/brake. Designed to tame muzzle flip and gasses vent in such a way that it pulls forward, reducing felt recoil and allowing for fast follow up shots. This also the shortest comp/brake currently availlable for M14 shorties
The A6 style, often copied, is a straight up muzzle break with large ports containing sufaces cut to direct gas out and away, as well as directing gas upwards. Warning... This one is loud :D
My preference is the comp/brake but everyones needs are different

Well.... I have a couple things in the works.
The Dlask flash hider that is similar but not the same as the ITAR controlled smith enterprise Vortex, will be back in stock soon.
This flash hider was never given a name by Dlask and folks have been mistakenly calling it a vortex.... Myself included.
I have a run of them in .308 on order and will update my dealer add once availlable

Also, by april-ish I will be able to offer shorty barrelled m14 owners a unique option.
I'll be machining the original flashhider mounting splines and providing a 1/2x28 castlenut. With this mod, you can then mount ANY standard M14/M1A flash hider. Solving the flash hider dilemma and the front sight dilemma, all in one swoop.

Any possibility of something with a bayo lug?? :D

I want to use a gas lock front sight but not give up the lug... just throwin that out... in case there is a Santa Claus.

No plans to manufacture bayo lug versions.
I am now performing permanent front sight mods to the front ring of the gas assembly via a precision machined front sight base dovetail, TIG welded directly to the gas assembly.
I've done at least a dozen of these mods and counting, and feedback has been excellent.
This permanent front sight base permits use of any non sighted, 1/2x28 muzzle device.
