I bought two boxes last winter for my 257 Roberts to get the brass, out of those two boxes I had 9 fail to fires. Not what I would call "Dependable". And no it wasn't the firing pin as I checked it and it was bang on to the manufactures specs and the primers were hit hard. Never had a a problem since, probably 250 rounds using lots of different primers. When they did fire they were quite accurate though...
Second experience with Hornady SP was sighting in a rifle for a guy a few months back, shot Remington and Winchester with no problems, went to try the Hornady and the first shot locked up the bolt. Not bad but not what I would want to be shooting. Tried another round, same thing and didn't bother shooting any more.
