Great stuff. I have never used video mode, I am paranoid of having it glow red for such a long time at night. What brand cam is that??

Your lucky your cam did not get speared by that elk lol. I find that since I have started wearing surgical gloves when I install my camera or swap out the memory cards, I have less up close and personal pics of curious animals. I learned this trick quick after having a bear break my cam.
