more VZ to choose from : CSA and FSN

i was pretty excited when wolverine announced new model from CSA, that will adds 5 new models to our roster of 4 (CZ858-2 , CZ858-4 and 2 of CZH2003 S&L)

but now, marstar announced they are bringing back the FSN-01 , that will be 4 more new ones making it total of 9 new ones to choose from .

i been waiting for a shorty for quite some time and its almost here.

I wonder if the fsn shorty will be shorter then the csa carbine? It looks like it may, but a little hard to tell from pics. Can't decide which one to buy!?!

IIRC the FSN was 11" or 12" and the CSA is 11.75", so not much between them. The different front sight position makes for a significantly different appearance.

no, the FSN pic came from marstar 2 years ago, they brought them in and then hell broke loose. yup , it was reclassified.

i think the carbines is about the same but CSA has the compact which is much shorter.

i like the marstars carbine (pic #2 in post 1) bcos of the location of the front sight .

good question , main differences other than furniture.

you can see FSN comes with flash hider/brake and shiny gas block (maybe stainless steel). iirc , the metal will be blued .

CA VZ58 currently in paint but may be blued in future shipment, it also has thicker receiver walls and has a side rail mounted.
