Why would you want a right hand cocking handle. It doesn't make ergonomic sense at all. In order to charge the weapon you need to pull your sight off the target.

To answer a couple questions... No, we aren't updating the gas blocks for free... it's not a necessary upgrade, just a nice one to have.
Never ever could we send 12" barrels to Canada! Don't think we would do light versions of the 18.6" barrels either...

With an AK, for example, I'd use the right hand fingers up to ####. So, it's not over or under.

to bad about the short barrels, short barreled version in 7.62x39 would be quite nice

Maybe RobArm could ship some full length barrels up here and we could get them chopped, crowned, and re-threaded up here? It would also be nice if they would just put an A2 style reciever cap and a cheap stock on for Canadian export. I don't know too many people up here who like the stocks on them and would like to be able to change to a carbine stock. An A2/A4 peice would do that, and should allow for U.S. export.
