Mortimer Flintlock Pistol - Valuation

[Da Moose]

Does anyone have an idea of the value of this Mortimer flintlock pistol, probably from the early 1800s, or know someone with appropriate expertise. The company was around for nearly 300 years.

The lock appears to date somewhere between 1770 and 1820. Take a look at the one for sale on IMA. It seems to be a bit high priced but yours is nicer. ht tp://www.ima-usa.com/original-english-flintlock-dueling-pistol-by-h-w-mortimer-circa-1810.html
