Remember this day gents - we will be talking about days like this years from now... "remember when you could buy Mosins by the crate?" It's sad the end is near for these milsurps coming in.

once every now and then there's some place proposing to sell mosin crates, last time not long ago was marstar for about the same price if i remember correctly. What i never understood is why would anyone go for it !? break down the price including shipping and it comes down to about 200$ a piece... and that's well, the price pretty much everywhere (if you know how to shop) where you can get just well 1..2..3.. or 5 for the same price. Why would anyone want to sunk 4K into getting 20 without any saving what so ever is beyond me. Ok i confess, i would like to have the wooden crate lol so i'll purchase en empty crate without spending 4K. Say what you want, this is just my honest opinion. I buy like a mad man when a price is good, but this aint one of them for me.

Hide them in the basement. By the time your son is grown maybe they will be worth a decent amount of money.

And because who doesn't want a whole crate of Mosin's haha

All we have coming in are sold out. We are trying to source more crates, but do not expect anything for a few months. The supply of mosins is running out, and the people in Eastern Europe who own the stock know this, that why the price of these rifles keeps going up. When the Marking comes int effect you will see 1891/30 turn into $350.00 + Rifle. We have witnessed the Enfield Full woods stocks go from $350 to $900+ in the last 5 years.

SKS will be next..

Not trying to bash here but unless I missed something were these not going for under 200 last month for one rifle across the country?

Buying 20 for over 200 a piece, I'm just not seeing the value in that unless a person wants to hang on to it for 20 years

Usually the more you buy the cheaper it gets. Just saying

Even better, there was some for a retail of $99 4 or 5 years ago. Since then we gave watched every shipment creep of $10-$15 per rifle. This pace will not stop. Research prices on Enfield rifles, SVT-40s, and K31s. Whats worse if you go looking for either of these 3 rifles, you may only find 1 in 10% of the stores. If you want to buy and hang on for 2 years, there will be a huge return.

Those who want to buy, now is the time as they will not be getting cheaper. My math says $3850 divided by 20 = $192.50 or $187.50 by EMT, not over $200 each.

A large group of Russian soldiers in the border area in 1939 are moving down a road when they hear a voice call from behind a small hill: "One Finnish soldier is better than ten Russian".

The Russian commander quickly orders 10 of his best men over the hill where Upon a gun-battle breaks out and continues for a few minutes, then silence.

The voice once again calls out: "One Finn is better than one hundred Russian."
Furious, the Russian commander sends his next best 100 troops over the hill and instantly a huge gun fight commences.

After 10 minutes of battle, again Silence.

The calm Finnish voice calls out again:
"One Finn is better than one thousand Russians"

The enraged Russian commander musters
1000 fighters and sends them to the other side
of the hill. Rifle fire, machine guns, grenades,
rockets and cannon fire ring out as a terrible
battle is fought.... Then Silence.

Eventually one badly wounded Russian fighter crawls back over the hill and with his dying words tells his commander, "Don't send any more men......it's a trap. There's two of them."

We have heard $25-$300. We do not direct import of firearms so it is not something we have been in the loop on. If it was $200 per gun, I suspect it will come down allot in the first year. Most direct importers do not know the exact price as they are either hoping for a deferral or compromise on the regulation, or have not yet bought or tested the engravers.
