I seem to recall that the Finnish M/N's are a grade or two above the average Soviet M/N's. I would imagine this was due to sorting the wheat from the chaff.
I'm not certain enough about it to provoke an arguement, which would be silly. But captured weapons would be inspected by an armourer & substandard or less desireable units would be discarded in favor of better weapons , correct?
Mosin collecters would be sure to agree; some models are far better than others.
