I have seen hundreds of Reicheagled and Waffenampted German arms and accoutriments. All waffenampted/eagled marked with the WaA123, Wehrmacht or special stamps like Luft 1 or Police B eagled. Here we have a Capture Reich Eagled Mosin 91 made in 1942 still with it's Russian stamps even a small cycle/hammer in wreath.
The lone German eagle is at bottom of wrist and has the unusal code of KRU 1. Even has a faint stamp under this, same stamp but too faint to be accepted.
This is a special piece to my collection. Shoots acceptable groups too.
All comments pro and con welcomed.

Looking up the code on the net, like anyone can do, the KRU 1 code is an ordinance depot rework code. I am trying to find out any history from previous owner too.

I will not doubt the rifle as she looks like she has been there, done that. If she was an early capture in the war, it certainly is possible as the restrictions on production and marking were not imposed yet on German weapons. A good look at an pre/early war Kar98k compared to one from late war backs this up.

With all the fake WaA and Swazi stamps floating around south of the border, you will always run into objections based on validity.

She is a nice find and addition to any collection.

No other markings? I've got some pics and data on german captured M/N's but it mostly deals with WW1 captured weapons.
Pretty cool I'd say. Friend down the road has a Finn with a " Deutsches Reich" mark and Austrian stampings. Wish I could buy it off him.

I am the owner of a fake and a real Nazi German marked Mosin Nagant. The receiver markings on the fake are as real as Pamela Anderson's titties, the wood markings are a different size than the stamp used to fake the receiver...why? No one knows.

Sorry the picture links are broken on the aforementioned fake:

This is the possible fake:

My real authentic capture Mosin Nagant does not have the original stock unfortunately, and the German markings FLP Mi on the receiver are the only legitimate, never faked (as far as anyone knows), markings on it. NOT ###y, but authentic nonetheless.
