Ok. Consider it done. Go figure I also own a 91/30 I can use for comparison purposes.

That bolt is on the left and the .308 chambered bolt is on the right. It looks like it has an additional ring on the extractor.

That's pretty cool. With the bent bolt it'd be pretty easy to mount a scope.
