mosin butt pad

I bought mine from eBay. 1" thick rubber, works great on my M44 and adds a little length. Also was cheaper than I could find locally.
 
I use a slip on one with a cartridge caddy over it.
I want one of the rubber ones that is made for the nagant that fits properly over or in place of the buttplate though.

Seriously though... I have been shooting my Mosin Nagant since I got it a year ago and I've never needed a butt pad.

However, I am 6' 2" and 250 lbs so I guess I'm properly suited for Soviet weapons ??
 
I ordered one from eBay for $10 and did fit on my M44, ended up buying a limb saver slip on which also works great on my SKS. I'm ok with the recoil, but the length of pull is perfect with the butt pad
 
This is what I mentioned that I use on a few of my Mosins. For the time being at least.

Don't mind recoil in normal doses, but it helps when I'm shooting 200 rounds through it along with 100 shotgun shells/slugs and whatever other large cartridge I tend to bring out each time. Combined heavy recoil rounds can add up in an afternoon.
LOP is improved for me as well. (6'1, 190)
