I got a 91/59 it will not feed anything other than the first round from the internal box mag. The intruptor will not trip allowing the next to pop up. I put in a newer intruptor and ejector and still nothing. So only thing I could think of is bolt. Its only my SHTF gun. It will pop up the next round if I push in the ejector.

I tried another bolt body and nothing.

How do I fix it without trying a new bolt head or connector.

I've had this problem before. If you can manually index the interrupter with your finger and it holds the round in place, that's not the the problem.

The magazine is probably seated too deeply, causing it to interfere with the interrupter or bolt travel. To test this theory, screw the magazine in very lightly and see if it will feed with dummy rounds. Obviously, it can't be fired in this condition. If that is the case, and it does fix it. Send me a PM with your mailing address and I'll send you a couple of period correct galvanized steel shims. I happen to have a spare set of magazine shims sitting on my desk in front of me.

Thanks you got me thinking. I made 5 dummies from live rounds ( pulling bullets, firing off the primers, epoxy/pressing the bullets back in ) I put the trigger guard/mag onto the action without the stock and it functioned perfect. I put the stock on and same issue. I did what you said and I don't think its seating too deep but not deep enough. So looks like I need to grind the stock to fit the trigger guard better.
