Mosin equipped with piccanity rail and red dot... Pic

If it works for you, it works for you.

I just hope that you kept the original military takeoff parts; some day even these rifles will be getting scarce and you might want to restore it.

The VALUE of a rifle has almost nothing to do with the PRICE. This goes double for Moisin-Nagants, triple for Lee-Enfields and quinuple for Rosses.

Dont worry i kept everything to bring it back, you can change stuff, but never on a permanent base... Cheers. JP.

Open sights when you are getting older, i dont need the practice, i need new eyes... JP.

Come now, My eyes are 53 years old and I wear bi-focals and I can't shoot with them so I don't.This weekend I was out ringing the 200&300 Yd gongs with my mosins and enfields.I don't need new eyes,I need longer arms and a even longer stock, then I could go from 12 inch gongs down to (?)maybe 6?

How does it shoot?

://[/IMG]After restauring my 91-30 the open sight were hard to shoot a good group with it so i order from Frontier a kit that you installed on the rear sight, installation was easy and after that went to the range and zero it, using Sellier&Belliot 180 gr ammo,it could group an easy 1.5 inch... This rifle is a very good shooter... JP.
