Not the first split case I have had but I noticed something strange with my bolt face after it! Its damaged now! not flat any more and there is metal missing, Bolt face is also coveeerred is red laqer. Inside the chamber is abit rough were the bolt face moves along, very small metal flaking. The firing pin is correct. Still fires 100% but how does this happen?

I would replace that bolt head if I were you. The pics not that great but it looks like you have very poor locking lug contact with the receiver. May want to check for receiver damage too.

Yeah a new bolt head. I have some 1944 Russian 7.62X54r that every case does that. The metal is brittle. It doesn't matter what gun I shoot it in.

I had some surplus ammo that would crack like that too. It was also sticking in the chamber really bad, but only after it was fired. One bad enough I had to (cringe) tap it out with a cleaning rod. MFS ammo available at Cabela's worked just fine, no issues. (except that 30$ / box makes for expensive plinking) As far as the bolt, it does look like something's gone wrong, difficult to tell just based on pics. If anyone's looking for these rifles, the Canadian Tire here in Cochrane has a bunch, and a big new firearm display at their new location :)

Just wondering.
Does the serial number match the barrel number.
Just wondering if you have a Frankenstein from a mis-matched parts.

Splitting on first firing is not a headspace issue, it's an ammo and/or chamber issue. The 7.62X54R headspaces on the rim, so even if the headspace is within limits as I suspect it is, the combination of a cavernous chamber ahead of the rim, and steel ammo that cannot expand much without splitting, will often produce the result you see here.

To recap, you have a damaged bolt, damaged reciever and an out of tolerance chamber. Confirm these with a gun smith. Strip the parts and recoup some of your money. Be sure to have the receiver destroyed. Otherwise sell the firearm on EE with full disclosure.
