Hi guys,
a quick question that I'm sure one of you will know the answer to:
I have an old Mosin Model 1891 built in 1907, I've never fired it; to this end, I've just bought a couple hundred rounds of the standard surplus 7.62x54r ammo that you find everywhere. My question is - is it safe to use what I assume is modern ammo in this 109 year old rifle? I assume that anyone who fires these old guns is using this same ammo right?
thanks.
