Mosin M38 and M44 price check?

I dont see much for sale on the EE for price reference? . Looking to thin the herd probably. i have a Russian m38 counterbored , Russian M44 with laminate stock and a mint Polish M44. Some ball park numbers would be much appreciated.

Likely a range of $550 to $850 by the sounds of what you've got. Hang on to them for another 10 years and no doubt you would get a bit more

Nice . i bought all them all around 12 years ago , dont think i payed over $200 for any of them . I would love to keep them all but snowmobiling aint cheap lol .

There will always be more money to be made, same is not true about these rifles. I know I’m not alone in with regret of selling surplus rifles.

Hard to find an m38 in an original m38 stock. A completely original, matching 38 would be exceedingly rare now. Minty M44 were plentiful a few years back. Beater guns were everywhere, even they've disappeared into collections. 550-850 is probably right, unless it's something exceptional, then skies the limit.

They were very well made guns, and tend to be in great shape as many were unissued. Personally, all things being equal, I would take the Russian.

I sold my near mint Polish M44 for $600 two years ago. Today I would ask $800. I also sold a couple of very good condition Izhevsk M44s a year ago for $500 each. I would ask $600 for them now.
I have a couple of M38s that I'm not parting with. I would want $700 for the one in the M44 stock and $800 for the matching numbers one in original M38 stock. The M44s went really fast.
