I just bought a m38 from a fellow cgn member, the rifle is in a mint shape wood, metal etc except the rifleing is milled out of the muzzle end like 1" 1/2 deep, I never seen anything like this before, is this going to affect the accuracy any ideas?

Some people say it detracts from value, but I think it's far better to have a counterbored rifle then one with a worn muzzle.
