Mosin M44 value

Just wondering what the ballpark value is of a Mosin m44 I have. I am not looking to sell it just wondering as I see a lot of m38's around and I know what the value of regular Mosin's are, depending what you have, but don't know what an m44 is worth. I purchased it about 4 years ago from a local shop for 150, not even realizing what I was buying and just wanted a regular Mosin, witch I have one of wright now...and a sniper on the way, but I digress, back to the M44. It is matching numbers, bolt, receiver, butt plate, stock and mag bottom. The rifling is strong and this rifle shoots surplus ammo very well and is accurate as far as Mosin's go, it is more of a shooter then a collector and I would rate it as a solid 7 out of 10 on looks, decent finish and no rust or pitting all parts present. So lets hear some opinions.
 
Its called supply and demand. When there are plenty the price is low, when there are none the price goes high. With the exception of Westrifle's small batch of M38s landing a week or two ago, there has been little to no imports in the last few years. Are there any more to be had and imported? who knows? I bought one last week because I didn't have one. A couple hundred one way or another didn't make any difference for me.

When i got mine about a year ago you'd see them on the EE for $300-$350, but prices have been creeping up since everyone has been getting into the mosin craze.
 
Four to five years ago a M38 or M44 regularly went for about $150, even the mint Polish M44's. M91/30's were solid $250 guns. Then we were flooded with 91/30's (albiet many with bores that were not the previous typical "Excellent", and none with laminated stocks), and the price dropped to $150 and less. I didn't predict $400+ M44's, but that's where we are. Russian SKS's took the reverse path - $400 guns became $150 guns.
 
The point of surplus is that we are running out of semi-auto surplus. So in the next few years all of those cheap surplus items will go up. SKS and Mosin I predict will be in 500-600 mark in 5 years. Then many people will say that I remember when I could have bought SKS for 200 and Mosin for 150. Look at M44 and you will see the same in in m91/30 just because USA has been buying 91/30 in thousands. We are down to the last few thousands you will see effect for Mosin starting next year I predict $250 mark by this time next year.
