I was lucky enough to get a deal on two mosins, one turns out to be a 1943r Isevick (sp)(arrow in a triangle) 48.5" soviet model with non matching bolt but everything else, and the other is a pristine all matching polish oval 11 1951 m44. The quality on the pole is extrordinary. Tight fit and nice wood. I noticed on another site that the '51 pole was rather rare . I was wondering why? Is it the first year that the m44 was made out of the ussr? thanks any info would be appreciated. Will send photos later. Thanks Pete
