Mosin muzzle brake

Muzzle brake ?? You mean the bent peice of sheet metal at the end of the barrel ??

Gross on soo many levels . There is much better. Brakes to spend your money on

Regardless of the brake, its only a 150 grain bullet out of a fairly heavy rifle, so maybe 10 or 12 pounds of recoil energy. Much lower than average. It may reduce recoil slightly, but will annoy the hell out of anyone shooting next to you. If you hunt and want to simulate how incredibly loud it really is, shoot an SVT40 with no ear plugs.

How do you mount the bayo with that crap on there? Because a Mosin is meant to be fired with the bayonet mounted. Use it as intended and call the bayonet a half sided tactical brake if you have to bequeer a historical rifle.

Wait, wut? Is that actually a Picattiny rail on the top and bottom of the muzzle break? Who makes that, Red Jacket? "GAME CHANGER!!!!"

I couldn't care much for that muzzle brake but the stock however looks awesome IMHO.
Considering its awesomeness factor, it must be a prohibited device in Canada.
